Community

Community is a feeling of togetherness with others. CORE’s Community Programs are designed and adapted to help you have a positive impact on local communities in Cusco through sustainable & interactive activities.

Work with pre-school children, students, local community leaders, and national park staff as you participate in environmental schemes & health campaigns. Help promote cultural identity through our education projects and support early learning for children with didactic activities & entertainment learning.

CORE Archaeology has official agreements with the Direccion Desconcentrada de Cultura Cusco del Ministerio de Cultura (DDC) and El Parque Arqueológico Nacional de Machupicchu (PANM).

All of our Community initiatives include working alongside archaeology, anthropology, and education professionals as well as qualified persons in the health sector.

We work closely with Local Municipalities, Established Educational Institutes and Registered Organizations.

Maybe you have a project idea of your own that you would like to implement through our My Personal Project scheme? Get in touch with us to see how we can support your project concept and help you put your plan into action.

Our partner tour operators and affiliated hotels help provide you with an enjoyable and unforgettable experience in the Peruvian Andes.

Cultural identity Project:

There are many isolated local communities in the Cusco region. Our Cultural Identity initiatives are coordinated with local authorities to help raise awareness, understanding, and the appreciation that give people a sense of belonging and wellbeing.

 Reforestation Project:

This project is located at various locations around Cusco and involves a variety of activities coordinated with local professionals. Most outdoor planting is undertaken during the wet season (November – February) but there are activities throughout the year. CORE Archaeology is dedicated to supporting efforts to protect native flora & fauna, and the local ecosystem.

Teaching Project:

The aim of our English language program is to help the staff who work at Machu Picchu Archaeological Park improve their level of English so that they can communicate better with international visitors to the complex. You will have the full support of an education professional for these fun language classes.
